Research that may have a “dual use”
1. If your health research may have an alternative use (e.g. could it help as a military manner/or for terrorism) than the one intended, please describe this.
2. In general, for most applications in health this will not be the case. However, if your proposal has dual use, it may be sensible to establish an ethics advisory board to consider the impact of your results on society in general.
