International Cooperation

The cooperation with Contact Points in Third Countries such as International cooperation Countries (ICPC) ensures that they have the necessary tools, guidelines and training to carry out their duty. All CPs are encouraged to participate in various programmes and activities organized by the project, especially in our in training sessions, networking and brokerage events as well as in the twinning and staff exchange programmes.


Info Day on FP7 Health – 10.03.2011

On the 10th of March Health NCP Net has participated in the infoday about FP7 Health programme in Lviv - Ukraine. Around 80 participants joined the meeting: researchers, directors of universities, consultants and members of the government in the Ukraine. One of the key goals of the visit to the Ukraine was to explain the importance of having a Health NCP. The presentations of the Health NCP Net have played a very positive role in enhancing the nomination of a Health NCP in the Ukraine. The Health NCP can thus look forward to a new participant in the near future.


Info Day with researchers in Moldova

An Info Day for researchers took place in Moldova on 15 June 2010. The South African Health NCP was also invited to speak at the NCP meeting at the Moldovan Academy of Sciences where he presented on successes and models of operation in Soth Africa.


Health Info Day organised by EU JordanNet

EU Jordan-Net   organized in July 2010 a three day workshop   for researchers interested in the Health theme of PF7. The participants learned about FP7 in general, about the health theme in particular and were trained on proposal preparation. On the third day there was a brokerage event attended by researchers from European and other non-Europeans countries.


Information Seminars on EU FP7 Calls in Taiwan

In June and July 2010, Taiwan Health NCP   organized three " Information Seminars on EU FP7 Calls for proposals on Health Research" in the National Taiwan University (NTU) and in the Taipei Medical University (TMU) which gathered more than 100 participants in total. These seminars were a great occasion to present the 50 topics of the EU FP7 Health Calls for proposal and to explain how Taiwanese researchers could join the international consortiums build to answer to these calls.
