Training for NCPs

General training course

It is designed to provide basic practical information to perform the tasks of an NCP. Although it is focused on less experienced NCPs and ICPC CPs, all NCPs are welcome to participate. The aim of this course is to present the role of a Health NCP, a general view of the various organization structures and activities carried out at the different NCPs offices located in MS, AC and ICPCs and to provide the necessary tools to carry out their work efficiently. The training will be strongly oriented towards the practical requirements and needs of participants (hands-on training).  The training sessions will be provided by experienced staff from the Health NCPs offices and other organizations with proven expertise, such as European Commission officers, evaluators, and coordinators of successful projects. There will be four general training sessions in the lifetime of the project. 

Specific training course

I t is designed to address hot issues and new challenges of the NCP role, while filling knowledge gaps identified by NCPs. Experts in the specific topics (from the  European Commission, research community, academia and industry are invited as lecturers. All NCPs and ICPC CPs will be invited to participate. Specific training sessions are organized twice a year during the first two years and once a year in the third and fourth years.
